That's a nice pair.

With the hull triple coated in a semi-gloss varnish the pair of opposing propellers could be mounted and have been fixed in place with Loctite, not relying on a single locknut.
The deck and accommodation block now require two more coats of varnish and I can get back to building.

It's the weekend of the local "Home and Garden Show" which we usually attend, at $4 entry for seniors on Friday why not, and besides catching up with some tradesmen we have used in the past there are lots of items we don't want.
But!
As can be seen in the Extra a Brazilian Gin caught my eye, as did the taster, so I bought a bottle and it has 21 botanicals including Lemongrass, Pomelo and Jasmine.
McQueen and the Violet Fog handcrafted gin.
A poem is on the back: -

On a riser together four figures were moored
Huge black amplifiers there rumbled and roared
Three were clocked all in purple, with faces concealed
And a fourth dressed in black turned away and revealed
On the back of his jacket what  I was there shown:
A great eye with a crown stitched on gold on it sewn
I was fixed to the spot by the music's shear violence
The lights were extinguished , then suddenly: silence

My heart caught in my throat as I helplessly waited
Then the bills glowed again, the room illuminated
What I saw there at last still defies explanation
The stage was deserted, save for the reverberation
Shocked and anxious I left, but glanced back at the door
And there saw a plate gone unnoticed before
All it read was McQUEEN, ampersand, on the wall
Just below: THE VIOLET FOG: that was all.

It doesn't taste bad either!

As it has stopped raining the running total for the past 36 hours is 84 mm and the already sodden ground has puddles where puddles should not be!
