Junior and the Geese

In this picture, Junior looks almost civilized. But, even as young as he is, he has learned something about his size and about his territory.

Junior chased the gaggle into the sea,
the gaggle of geese was not meant to be.

The geese?
The 3 females are Gertrude, Greta, and Gail,
and the 3 males are Garrett, Grady, and Dale.

I noticed that Junior (that is his name) and his sister Crenna are now flying. From what I've read, they will migrate south with their parents, but soon after that, the parents will leave them behind. Must be quite a jolt. Makes me wonder if they have any idea about what's going to soon happen to them.
