Homeward bound……phew!

It would take far too long to relate the catalogue of troublesome events during the past 24 hours resulting from the so called “service” of our car. Suffice to say that I will not be using that dealership again! The car could not even clear the last hurdle of disembarking at Craignure as the unresolved problem of the faulty 12 volt battery meant that it did not have enough oomph to get me going. Fortunately, this was not a problem for the very efficient and helpful crew members on the car deck of the CalMac ferry. A power pack was produced and hooked up to my car, giving me the power to start it and complete the final stage of my journey home.
