Leaves Today, Gone Tomorrow?
Another flat calm day, but mostly cloudy and overcast. Dry all day and night.
Early shift in the airport again, and I've been working on the check-in desk all day. A busy day of passengers, and even had my niece Michaela at my desk. Walkies with Sammy after work, and then headed down for my shift in the shop. A busy night at work with the fine evening. Feet up now.
After a couple of super calm days, it's hard to believe we are going to have day of 70mph winds and heavy rain tomorrow. Here in Shetland, we don't often get any sort of autumn, it usually goes from summer to winter in a blink of a gale. What little trees we do have, never manage to get the beautiful gold and red glows, one gale and they are gone. It was starting to look like autumn here, just a shame it couldn't have stayed calm a little longer. These trees will probably be bare within the next 24 hours. Sammy enjoying his walkies, Meadowfield Road, Scalloway.
