What a wonderful erection.
I thought it very amusing that I'd just finished the Devils Paintbrush by Londoner Jake Arnott when I came across this monument to Sir Archibald Hector MacDonald. In the story Arnott supposes a meeting between General MacDonald and Aleister Crowley, the Laird of Boleskin or the wickedest man alive. At first I thought the tale was that far fetched but then...?
The monument was erected by friends from his youth.
Curiously it's filled with old crows nests.
