This is going to be my Corvair Convertible someday
Mara checking before passing in her Uncle Geoff's 69 Corvair Convertible (one of less than 100 left in the world). Mara already knows how to drive. Pretend to put the plastic key in the lock and then make motor noises. while twisting the steering wheel. The car is currently immobilized. Some of my finest memories are of pretend driving while my mom had run into the store, something that would get you in big trouble today.
Mara gets the corvair love thru the blood. Her uncle and mother are both corvair nuts and uncle's girlfriend likes them too. Mara went to her first car convention at the age of 6 weeks. Mara is much like her uncle in that she would rather snuggle up to a plastic race car instead of stuffed animals (his favorites as a baby) and her preferred form of communication is a variety of motor noises.
Today, I give thanks for the day I was given, my son and his very sweet girlfriend, my daughter and my grandaughter with her precocious driving skills.
