Story Time...

This is a very regular occurrence which I paid not much heed until tonight's episode. We have bedtime stories on my bed as there is more space there and almost without fail, Sushi will come lie on my stomach as we read the story.

Tonight we# are camping... in a tent... in Bethany's bedroom. Just as we are about to begin, who should turn up but Sushi here. I had to lift her into the tent but once she was in she settled rather comfortably in her usual position on my belly.

We like to think that she comes for the story each night. She must be a fan of Ronald Dahl as well.

# That is of course the 'royal we' as I shall be ducking out to my memory foam mattress of loveliness as soon as their heads hit the pillow.
