Green Gym and fish and chips

Today we were clearing dead and overgrown plants round a war memorial.  There is an award winning fish and chip shop nearby so seven of us decided we would stay on for an al fresco lunch.  The owner (who brought us iced drinks when we were working there in the summer) provided tea and coffee on the house as he appreciates the work we do.
We will be back again early in November to spruce it up for the Remembrance Day service.
Saves making myself a meal tonight and we had used up some calories doing the work!
