Your Boat

A few years ago it was brought to my attention that if you added 'Boat' to my first name (Rhona) it was pretty funny/silly. Since then, I've been called it by a few people but with no great regularity. Until I met Panther that is. He doesn't call me by the full 'Rhona Boat' but the shortened form of 'Boat'. I like it. I really like it. I really like being his Boat. Last night on the phone, I told him about this little boat that I had and said that I would give her to him so that he could look at her and be reminded of me. She was hidden away in one of my drawers alongside pretty plates, bowls and suchlike so I had a wee hunt. He's never seen her before. I do hope he likes her.
