Undercover in Corfu Town

Approximately 2 minutes after getting off the bus in Corfu Town the rain started. 

Did I say rain? 

Sorry, tropical storm!

Mrs B and I headed into a nearby bar/cafe to enjoy a Coke and a coffee to let it pass over.

This ended up being beers, wines, lunch and more coffees as we watched the streets flood to over 8 inches and passers by hurried from shelter to shelter or in this guy's case, walked barefoot up the street.

The storm lasted 3 hours 45 mins .......... leaving us a whole half hour to see the sights of Corfu Town before we had to catch our bus home.

Extra 1 - The Venetian Fortress of Corfu.
Extra 2 -  The Venetian like streets of Corfu Town after the canals had disappeared back down the drains.
