Hetty's House

B and I went for a stroll around Holt Country Park this morning.  Of course the first stop was the lovely Hetty's House Tea Room.  From this tiny shed you can buy all sorts of goodies, everything from bacon butties to home-made cake as well as very good coffee.  The seats on the little verandah are thoughtfully supplied with blankets and there are tables inside too in a building next door.  The clock is right twice a day.

So, we sat across the car park on the picnic tables amongst the trees and had a lovely chat with our hot drinks.

It turned out to be quite a sunny day in the end and this afternoon I did some much needed weeding and mulching, as well as mowing the grass which has recovered well considering how it looked a few weeks ago.

A most satisfactory day!
