Unswitched

Most of the wiring of the Dell House when we bought it had some semblance of normality even if the person responsible was an outstanding fan of junction boxes.  Our electrician has removed... it must be near 100 by now.

Thankfully, the rewiring project is largely complete.  Poking around in the Butler's ceiling void today, tracking back some ex-gas piping (to make sure it really is 'ex') I extracted a fair bit of debris including this prize example of the now-removed, distressingly ad-hoc, wiring.

I guess the guy eventually ran out of junction boxes...
