Skate Bank NW

Adding to the collection of local buoys in and around the Moray Firth, we have here the Skate Bank NW buoy. This one has a twin (Skate Bank NE) buoy to mark out the edge of the Skate bank sandbar where it runs parallel with the Chanonry point bar.

It's a favourite waymarker and frequently marks the end of a little push that started at the NE buoy ... or the start of a push towards home.
