To See New Englandly

Hircine Highway

School field trip today. Too pooped to elaborate. May update this tomorrow. Then again, may not.

Edit: Ok, so here's the story. Many of the the U-Pick farms and country ice-cream stands around here also have small barnyards where the kids can look at and feed the goats, sheep and bunnies. Many of them also have these elaborate structures for the goats to climb.

My daughter's preschool took a field trip to a "farmland" where there were dozens of sheep, lambs, goats, and kids (both human and caprine). The parents, of course, said, "Oh, look at the goats climbing up there!" The kids have seen this at least a half dozen times before and were not at all impressed by the sky-walking goats. The absolute highlight of their day was the ride in the big yellow school bus -- a first for most.

Thanks for all the comments on this :) Had no idea it was so unusual to see these playgrounds for goats!
