Stop

Crappy weather, allotment plans put on hold. Drove S up to The Pleasance, making a detour to avoid an unexpected traffic jam so taking ages. Should’ve taken the same detour on the way back - the 15 minute journey took 45! Surprisingly, I stayed fairly chilled; no rush to be anywhere so just changed the CD and settled in. Journeys like that won’t be a problem soon because my car doesn’t meet the city centre ‘Green Zone’ rules. We get a year’s grace though, presumably so that thousands of people can rush out and buy eCars or Hybrids then have nowhere to charge them, so maybe my car will die in the interim and it won’t be a rainy day issue.
