Thursday

We didn’t walk this morning, as we were planning to walk this evening with Auckland Joggers. Mr MacD got out and mowed the lawn and did some gardening, I picked broad beans and spinach.  After lunch I made muesli, crackers and ginger biscuits, and chopped roasted nuts to be sprinkled into porridge. All this activity in the kitchen meant we ran out of time to go to Joggers. Then after supper we watched The Great New Zealand Bake-off and, of course, another episode of The Capture.  Curiouser and curiouser, and ever more intriguing.

The sunset is an emergency blip, but it’s not bad.
