The view - backblip

Trouble free journey up to Sleights, near Whitby with 'Matilda' this morning where we met our friends C, K & Gemdog in a camping field overlooking this wonderful view.  Our campsite is part of a working farm but no dogs are allowed on the main CL but the kindly farmer said we could stay in the field below as long as Gem was a quiet and well behaved canine and the field gate was kept shut at all times.  K wasn't sure what 'the field' would be like but as soon as we arrived we saw it was just perfect, not like the campsite above which had no view owing to a tall hedge surrounding it.

It's good to be with our friends again, the sun is shining and we're looking forward to the rest of the week here, first outing to Whitby tomorrow.
