Still Standing
I decided that it was time to visit the old, white barn again. I haven’t been back to photograph this old structure for several months. This is a favorite subject of mine, and I think it is interesting to watch the building’s slow deterioration over time. The corn crib’s slat wall has noticeably sagged more, but otherwise the barn hasn’t changed much. I captured this image at dusk, and I think the combination of a slow shutter speed, and high ISO setting has given the resulting image a painterly effect.
