Keepers of the Vigil cairn, Calton Hill

I hardly slept at all last night, ending up on the sofa bed in the study listening to the World Service. I still managed to go for a short walk before settling down to work - when I blipped the Keepers of the Vigil cairn on Calton Hill - but failed to go for a run at lunchtime.

I completed all the admin to ensure that our newly-accepted journal article is now visible to the outside world, posted another interesting blipper-sourced photograph to the LornaLPodcast journal, and worked on an award application. Then it was time for our weekly research group meeting (my last ever - I didn't cry).

I finished off the award application just before dinner, then made a start on some presentation slides for an event at the University of Edinburgh on Monday.

Exercise today: small amount of walking (7186 steps).
