Hawkweed

Spent almost three hours digging out large weeds that have taken root over the year, including the inevitable dandelions, plus dead poppies and daisies ect, etc. Quite a tangle and have only done half. I'm hoping our resident wildflower expert can identify the extra, intrigued to know what it is. I've left the lovely hawkweed, that deserves to stay, and I've planted some clumps of irises and some daffodil bulbs.
A hot bath followed, an expensive treat ....very sad that we have to actually consider that these days!
