May Challenge Day 3: Loud

It looks quite a peaceful shot.

But, today I had to take a trip into Edinburgh to meet with a recruitment agent. Despite only living 25 miles from the city, this was the first time I had had a need to be there for almost nine months. Stepped off the bus and got hit by LOUD!

Buses, taxis, tram works, road works, tourists, screaming kids, tacky shops blaring music, police sirens, fire engines, ambulances, wind and rain, it was just a cacophony of noise.

On the bus home we got held up for over an hour because some idiot accused the bus driver of assaulting him.(the driver sits behind a reinforced plastic screen....) More shouting, more loud, then police, then the accuser getting carted off.

Off out now, despite the rain, to have a walk back in the quiet countryside!

(Meeting went well - more promising opportunities on the horizon. In the loud city :) )
