Tiny Tumbleweed

Not exactly a silhouette, but maybe a shadow? There was no sun and as I drove by this puddle, I liked the reflection in the wetness.  Not sure what the plant is, but it seems to have been uprooted on this not at all windy day.

Thinking we may experience our first North Carolina hurricane in a few days, but it is not predicted to be very strong here (yet).  Thinking about getting food that can be cooked outdoors (almost anything on a gas grill) in case of power failure. A couple of neighbors have generators so that will be an emergency backup I guess.  

In the meantime, a very red sky tonight - "sailor's delight" for tomorrow I hope. See extra.
