The spooky time

It's cold now, in the mornings and evenings. I wear my jacket in the house. I reckon we'll put the heating on this Saturday.

Made it to the silent sitting at 8 this morning, in the church. Worked in the office all day, alone. Our planned home visit didn't happen.

Walked home, made some supper, sat down for a minute, went out to Film Club. The film was Honeyland (2019) set in rural Macedonia, among Turkish speakers. It was about bees, and a traditional way of life, and what happens when that traditional way of life is threatened. If you get the chance, do go and see it, it's stark and moving.

A friend AP was there too, so we had a drink in the bar afterwards. Film club is so civilised these days!
