Main activity: Tues - Hurricane Ian prep 
Notes: Spent lots of time last night and this morning prepping for Bette to come stay - switched to give her the big bedroom with the on-suite, have everything clean and put away. Ran another gallon of distilled water and juiced a package of celery with the new juicer - it doesn't work quite as good as the one in TX but did a decent job (for $100 less I can deal with it). Got to Bette's 11a, helped her go thru stuff and load up. We headed to 34th St then so she could get a bday card mailed - had to go all the way to the Post Office in Gulfport. Quiet afternoon chatting and watching BayNews9 and The Weather Channel to see the same things over and over. Hurricane is over Cuba, tomorrow and Thurs will be pretty stormy here and hard to tell yet the storm surge - predicted 5-10 feet in this area - will depend on if it makes landfall south of Tampa Bay, right on or north ... The west entrance to the Bayway here has 24 hr police and they're stopping everyone.
