Sweeping Up.

Yesterday when I walked up the road, the pavement was strewn with conkers which had fallen from the horse chestnut tree (see extra).  Today, walking up the same route, the street cleaner had swept the pavement and was collecting all the fallen debris and putting it into his cart.

He will have to come regularly if he wants to keep the pavement clear.
