STRUGGLING

Following an extremely successful Steam Gala at the weekend, NYMR is now struggling to maintain services. Staff shortages have meant a mixture of steam and diesel services today and the problem is compounded tomorrow as no services will travel right through to Pickering . . . no signalmen available for the New Bridge Signalbox.
Also, Sir Nigel Gresley is back under repair . . . a secret problem that they hope to sort by the weekend, when she should be doing more specialist tours on the line. Image shows the 9F loco crew about to set off back to Pickering, having been hauled to Grosmont by Greene King.
