The Walled Garden. I’ve been here before at various points during the last five years. The site used to be the Council plant nursery many years ago. It’s now a lovely tranquil space, with a variety of plants and garden features. It’s also used for weddings and small events. The Cyrenians, in partnership with the Council and Community Justice, manage the ongoing development and maintenance. The large house in the park is the local base for the Cyrenians; they undertake charitable work supporting the community, including tackling the causes and consequences of homelessness. The house also contains a cafe; they use vegetables and produce from the garden.
