Buying in more temporary colour

A couple of my blip photos this Spring have been about our attempts to brighten up our garden and house in advance of the late arrival of Spring and this is yet another one. My wife picked up a couple of ridiculously cheap hanging baskets, presumably discounted because the flowers looked a bit tatty. But a quick bit of dead-heading and a spruce-up plus a few days' recovery and they were fine and continue both to flower and to improve in condition, bringing a wee spot of colour to our shed until Spring arrives properly (which it has now)!
