Old House Facade

This front of an old house has been re-built into the retaining wall of what was a pub car park. It is the facade of Allan Fold House which was demolished when the area was re-developed. The datestone over the door is inscribed 1654.
The wooden 'door' has deteriorated somewhat and could do with replacing.
I think this is a quite novel way of keeping a tangible link with the past.
