Towards the Footbridge….,

It was a little lighter when Maisie and I ventured out for our walk early this morning. The footbridge, seen clearly here, was totally underwater when recent floods sent raging waters downstream. There was a red glow low on the horizon in the northeast.
It is so lovely to have Margaret’s company for a few days. We have been busy today but nevertheless had time for rest and recreation.
