Autumnal

Another ridiculous day. Swam for an hour. The last 15 minutes were hard work, my shoulders were screaming.

Then a crazy morning juggling talking to rellies, dealing with personal stuff, dealing with the painter and dealing with work. But the relief was the knowledge I'd be on my own this evening. Didn't happen. J and D's plans were changed and they were home before me. 

Afternoon with Mum at dentist then care review. J's ordered urgent Sainsbury's order arrived. Turned out only two items were urgent. On reflection I think J does this more for how it makes her feel than restocking cupboards. She has definitely turned into our aunt. 

The important things I really had to do tonight were scuppered as they were home before me (see above) and I felt I had to be polite. I thought they'd watch TV through the back . They didn't so I ended up doing some of my admin while having to watch Quiz Night. 

Elsewhere, the country is in financial meltdown and I must speak to M. Tomorrow night, when I'll have the house to myself. 

And it's very autumnal. The heating is on.
