Back again

Today was an international celebration at school, they were allowed to wear the colours of a world flag. CyclopsJnr has his Ukraine colours on again, because the Irish themed t-shirt that was ordered a week + ago didn't arrive yet.

We busted CyclopsJnr out early for a dentist appointment.

The dentist gave CyclopsJnr an X-ray and was satisfied that his gums/ligaments were healing. She removed the wire and other bits splinting his teeth together. Everything was judged to be stable without the splints. It took ages to gradually remove the glue and wire, just a fiddly task, but it was not painful and he did very well letting them do what they needed to do.
 
Several future check-ups will be required and the dentist recommended that he avoids whole apples and crusty bread for a further week, but that he is otherwise free to proceed as normal.
