Banana Peppers

Eating ordinary peppers, especially green ones, does all sorts of unpleasant things to my system so I avoid them totally.
For some reason Romano peppers do not have the same effect. I have grown these from seed, they were called Sweet Banana Peppers but I think they are the same as Romano's. A man on the internet tells me these are almost ready to harvest, the green colouring turning to yellow. I could leave them longer to go yellower (?) or red but I think I will pick the biggest one next time we are having salad.
