Cafe City

We met up with Diane today for a Mall walk after what feels like ages! She's been away in West Papua, so there was lots to chat about, and we even got to see some holiday pics! :))

Dubai Mall has so many distinct areas, and we ended up in Fashion Avenue, known for its designer stores and extreme decadence. On our way to our coffee break, we walked through the Nike store. My blip is shot from there. The views are fantastic!

The building on the right is the side of Fashion Avenue that overlooks the Fountain. This side houses five levels of cafes of various descriptions. I think if you added up all the cafes in the Mall, you'd easily hit 40! Diane & I are resolved to check out one of these places when the weather cools down.

We did our usual whip around M&S to help them dispose of their fresh food that needs to be sold by the end of the day. G was thrilled to come home with four pints of British milk!

I then put in my hours at work before we went to the SA meeting. No idea what happened today, but everyone was late, including Jeff & Margaret! We had a tiny group (five in all), so Margaret switched from what she had planned, and we talked about becoming soldiers, or adherents, as the case may be.
