A belated Happy Rosh Hashanah to all those who’ve celebrated the Jewish New Year. Growing up in a post WWII predominantly Jewish neighborhood of a Cleveland Ohio eastern suburb this was a school holiday —- but since we weren’t Jewish my mom made us go to school as they were still open. I remember there were only two of us in my third grade class on Jewish holidays . I am thankful for driving up in an area where I learned many of the Jewish traditions and holidays and their meanings .
