Mince Pie in September

With a block of pastry in the freezer and a large jar of mince in store, what else is there to do? Make a mince pie of course. Well here it is just out of the oven in all its glory. Cooling down just now but all ready to eat later and perhaps some for tomorrow as well.

Mmmmm. Why wait for Christmas!
