Little Miss Floury!

Miss L seems completely baffled as to how she's covered from head to foot in flour!
Sticking her hands in the bowl of flour and then throwing it about and rubbing it all over her face might have something to do with it!!!
Today has been lovely. Miss L and I had a lazy day at home - mostly watching Ben and Holly, building Lego towers and bouncing on the trampoline.
We did manage to get out at lunchtime for a bit of scan and shop action in Tescos. Miss L adores it! I must try and get a picture of her scrunching up her face with the effort of pushing the button as hard as she can - while I move the item around in front of her attempting to get the barcode in the vague area of her waving beeper!
You wouldn't want to be in a hurry!
We bought ingredients for gingerbread men to make after school. Miss E's friend Miss H came back with us for a play and some dinner and they had a fine old time mixing all the ingredients. Mostly they enjoyed stuffing as much of the mixture into their mouths as possible.
Something went a bit awry with the dough which was sticky and gloopy and very un-doughlike so I sent the kids out in the garden while I added practically a whole packet of flour to it to get it under control!!
And I'd failed to notice that the recipe was for thirty gingerbread men so we ran out of baking trays for all the weird and wonderful shapes they cut out!
It's lovely seeing Miss E play with her friend - they were both upset when it was time to go home; sad about all the things things they hadn't done - including playing inside and painting each other's nails!
And Miss L has a bit of a soft spot for Miss H's older brother Mr S who's eight. He came for dinner too and they all enjoyed playing in the garden.
