VERIFIER

With a name like a DC Comic superhero ( or an HMRC job title) here is "Verifier" letting itself be taken by the tide whilst it surveys the waters of the Thames at Gravesend.

The ship is equipped with a comprehensive array of electronic survey equipment, including a sophisticated multi-beam hydrographic swath echo-sounder, a 1.2 tonne hydraulic crane and, at the stern, a 3 tonne electric winch for deploying remote survey sensors.

I have decided that i want a "sophisticated multi-beam hydrographic swath echo-sounder" for xmas ... will sure beat an X-Box ;)
Failing that a Terry's Chocolate Orange will do ;)
