Here’s to the burgundy and gold

My mother knitted these slippers for me  many years ago when I was a die hard Washington Redskins fan. Back when they won more than they lost and won the Super Bowl 3 times. I have since become a fair weather fan and I am very disappointed that they changed their name. I don’t think I will ever call them by their new name. Anyway, my feet were cold and these were in my heavy sock drawer so here they are for you to see.
