Bulb Day

A fun day out at the Alpine Garden Society event today, all the more so as I got paid for being there, rather than the other way around!   It was great to catch up with a few old friends and to put faces to a few names.     All three talks were well received, I was very happy with how mine went.   Three nurseries attended and with one of them a specialist bulb grower, I seem to have spent half my fee.  Actually I’m calling the book a late Christmas present - finally spending what my mum gave me for Christmas last year!   Yes, some of the little bulbs I bought are Colchicum.  

An uncomplicated drive home after picking Jamie up from Ruth’s.  Big thanks to Katie who looked after Meg for the weekend and to C for walking her for me.  I have some very special friends :-)
