Chocolate

From the top of Clifford’s Tower you get fine views over the rooftops of York. The Chocolate Works, former home of Terry’s of York was one building that caught our eye, but I had to look it up later to work out what it was.

18yo, 14yo and I enjoyed a last trip out before 18yo heads off to uni next weekend. Clifford’s Tower has been extensively refurbished and it was interesting to see what English Heritage had made of the place. The best bit is still the views over the city though.

Mainly we just pottered about town, but we did spend some time in the art gallery again. And the trains were all on time which makes the day so much more relaxed.
