Lessons

I know from my own experience that we learn much more quickly when we make our own mistakes.
I'm long enough in the tooth to have made a great many mistakes in my life and that means I learn very quickly indeed.
When I lived in Medway I was lucky enough to stumble across a group of women so amazingly warm and supportive that I had no need to navigate my way out of a quagmire.
I have found my Bedford group much more difficult to navigate; a wider demographic, wider interests and a noticeably significant amount of alpha jostling.
I think that this weekend I have found my niche within that pool and begun to establish some worthwhile friendships.
