Well….

….we had a new toilet fitted downstairs today.  The plumber and we had chosen a posh toilet seat.  The poor guy spent an hour trying to fix it on - the fittings were useless!  In the end he had to fit the cheap one that came with the toilet - but fitted in two minutes flat!  He’s taking the other one back to the shop.  We may change it later ourselves.  Obviously, the next thing will be to get the flooring re-done. (We ripped up a carpet that was in there and it left a very old floor underneath.  Then today he had to remove the old flooring to fit the new loo, so it now has a wonderful ripped effect!)

And that was our day!  (We were pleased not to have any effects from the dual Covid jabs that we had yesterday afternoon.  I felt awful after the previous one, so very thankful).
