My, my, my dahlia (with apologies to Tom Jones)

Today has been a domestic one - indoors and out. I am trying to get some autumn garden work done whilst it is dry and sunny - the weather is supposed to get windier and cooler later in the week. 

Some while ago I found a tuber whilst sorting out some plants. I left it on top of a pot and completely forgot about it. I didn't even water it. But a few weeks ago I noticed something growing and now it has just produced this lovely flower, a dahlia if I am not mistaken. Sorry, Sir Tom, about the weak joke.
