Welshpool

Another catch up with family. Cousins just happen to be staying down the road from us so we met up at the halfway point between our respective accommodations. Firstly at a pub near to the start of the Welshpool and Llanfair railway. As the pub was fully booked for lunch we headed to the cafe at Powis Castle for a sandwich. The railway was running Paddington bear specials, hence The Marmalade Express. Main shows the last train of the day. Extras are The Earl, the lead "Fame" statue and the view over the castle gardens.
