Spiralling
This afternoon I met up with KP and DB for a short visit to Swaddywell - great to have their company. The Autumn Lady's-tresses are nearing the end of their season, but their spiral flower and seed heads are still delightful. As I already have many images of this species, today I tried a different approach, using monochrome to highlight the structure.
After our walk K and I sat and had hot chocolate in the Willowbrook Farm Tea shop, while going through plans for our first WALKshop in Stamford next weekend. Before we knew it, it was closing time - they nearly had to throw us out!
