View from the bridge

After ticking off jobs indoors this morning I decided to have a meander down to the canal.  Quite a few hired narrow boats slowly going by and numerous dog walkers too.  Had a chat with the owner of a lovely labrador called Lily.  Pleased I made the effort as the sun was shining, but a definite autumn nip in the air.
Had a fight with my overlocker, turning up a hem of an evening dress for someone.  Of course the fault was mine!
Now going to tackle a pile of ironing as I have unpacked some warmer clothes that look a bit creased and, with a sigh, put away some of the 'only hot weather' items.
