There have been two enormous garden spiders on the jasmine this year and I thought this one was going to be the least successful.  But she's still here, and very rotund, and the other one's gone. The other night, I found her happily munching something large in the dark.  The waxy leaves look perfect for creating that rain shelter too. She's doing well.
