Marriage of Convenience
I do not love this city.
But it has lots to offer.
We congregate in cities because with population you get all the conveniences — jobs, healthcare, entertainment, bars and restaurants, and all the rest. You make friends, you settle in.
When we moved here from San Francisco, this was where the jobs were. It is a much better place today than when I was last living here, in the 1970s, but you could say that about a lot of places. Now it has grown up but is going through growing pains.
