Flowers

The weather here in Texas is gorgeous, 70 and sunny. Unfortunately, I have spent much of the day indoors working at a local event. I took a quick break and am enjoying typing this entry while sitting on park bench in the shade.

These flowers were sitting on a table in preparation for an event at the hotel. This hotel is a large complex that encircles a grass field of flowers and trees. Someone had an outside event tables were setup with the floral centerpieces.

I was drawn to this shot by the bright colors of the flowers and the strong shadow. In reviewing it, I also like the contrast of the blue table cloth and the interesting reflection in the vase.
